Over 95 kids came out to show their talent in hopes to become an ETX Legend. "We are so excited that so many kids in our area share our passion for great baseball." Legends visionary Colt Bickerstaff reflects on the weekend and how much it meant to have so many kids out on Legends Field giving their all for a place on the team.

The ETX Legends want to thank all those who pour into our organization. We are so thankful for those who came out to support us at our DQ Night in Mineola. Thanks to Dairy Queen for giving us this profit share opportunity to raise money for our World Series in Galveston. We are thankful for this great community who support and encourage local sports.
ETX Legends 8U Become Family
The ETX Legends 8u baseball team concluded their season with a record of 29-10-1, including 4 championships and 2 finalist positions, their achievements are outstanding. Coach Shane Whittington has this to say about his team, "The most rewarding aspect was witnessing this group evolve from individuals into a cohesive team. They've forged a family-like bond over the past months, supported wholeheartedly by friends, family, and fans alike. Thank you, ETX Legends 8u, for an incredible and unforgettable season. Take a moment to catch your breath, then back to training. Love you boys! Looking forward to seeing you again soon."

Colt Bickerstaff is our head of baseball operations and our 7U Legends Head Coach. Coach Bickerstaff played High School Baseball here in Mineola, Texas where he owns many of the school's records. Colt was blessed to play at the University of Nebraska with his older brother. Coach Bickerstaff finished his career at The University of Oklahoma where he helped his team win a Big 12 Title. Colt's knowledge of the game is unmatched. His ability to connect and coach his players with passion is what makes him special.
